Æolus brass band
Æolus Brass Band Thirty professional musicians, members of great French bands and award winners at international competition level, decided to share with the public their passion for brass band music – the repertoire of which, although virtually unknown in France, is received enthusiastically by our European neighbours. Æolus Brass Band was Champion of France from 2004 to 2008 and is the best brass band in France, holding its own among other great European bands. The musicians:

25 May 2008: 3rd place at the All England Masters International Brass Band Championship in Cambridge - a historic first for a French brass band
Clément Saunier: the prize for the best soloist was awarded to Æolus’s solo cornet, another great first in the United Kingdom
18 November 2007: Æolus became Champion of France 2007 catégorie honneur (the best class) in the competition organised by the Confédération Musicale de France.
5 May 2007: Æolus came 10th at the European Brass Band Championship in Birmingham (England).
19 November 2006: Æolus became Champion de France 2006 catégorie honneur
6 November 2005: Æolus became Champion de France 2005 catégorie honneur
28-29 April 2005: Æolus took 9th place at the European Brass Band Championship in Groningen (Holland).
14 November 2004: Æolus carried off the 1st French Brass Band Championship
12 June 2004: Æolus received 3rd prize at the International Brass Band Competition in Amboise – excellence class (the best class of the competition).
